These have excellent ramp quickness but are designed in a way to improve stability over other designs with such short seat timing. The increased lift works well with the latest Gen III and LS cylinder head port designs by providing excellent area above 1/2” valve lift. FSL™ Cams for the Gen III/IV three-bolt and LS2/LS3 single-bolt applications can produce a 30 to 70 HP increase in peak power while the version for Gen IV single-bolt cams works with factory Variable Valve Timing and features unique profiles on switching and non-switching cylinders for compatibility with Active Fuel Management, while providing the proven 30+ HP improvement typical of smaller COMP Cams ® camshafts in LS applications.
