PERFORMANCE MODULES POWR-FLO PERFORMANCE THROTTLE BODY ROCHESTER BIG BLOCK Q JET JET performance modules are available for GM, Ford and Chrysler vehicles (1986 to present). These modules can add up to 25 horsepower instantly with simple, plug in installation. Module programs have been track and dyno tested to ensure the most possible horsepower and drivability from each application while getting the best possible mileage. The JET Powr-Flo Throttle Body is a direct replacement for the factory unit. It can be used to replace a worn out throttle body or to upgrade the existing throttle body. JET Powr- Flo Throttle Body provides increased air flow for improved throttle response by taking advantage of JET’s unique inlet design. JET Powr-Flo Throttle Bodies include all NEW pre-installed calibrated electronics to allow for a simple“remove and replace” installation. Quadrajet carburetor tuned for Chevy and GMC cars and trucks with 396 ci and larger modified big block engines. The carburetor is extensively reworked by increasing main well size and is balanced to assure top end high RPM fuel flow. Several circuit modifications are made to keep the fuel curve correct throughout the entire RPM range and to keep consistent idle quality. Includes a .135 needle and seat to ensure adequate fuel flow. The carburetor is designed for modified big block motors with a dual plane intake manifold, headers, 8.5-9.5:1 compression ratio and mild ported or aftermarket heads. Recommended cam specs: Duration at .050 min 210º max 240º and a lobe separation angle of 110º-114º Part No. 36003 Stage 1 - For stock or mildly modified vehicles. Fuel and timing curves are modified for optimal performance and mileage using less expensive, lower octane fuels. For optimal performance gains use of mid-grade or better is recommended. Stage 2 fuel and timing curves are extensively modified for peak performance and features more aggressive programming to make the most horsepower and torque available. * Requires use of 91 octane fuel, 180 degree thermostat & free flow exhaust. Rochester Q JET Stage 1 - Quadrajet starts with a complete disassembly of the hand selected core, cleaning and inspection procedure. The casting plugs are sealed with epoxy to prevent leak-down into the intake manifold. All circuits are checked for proper sizing and the calibration is checked for proper jets, primary metering rods and secondary metering rods. The carburetor is then reassembled using the highest quality components with a new float, choke pull-off and bronze bushed throttle shafts. A Stage 1 is intended to restore factory stock performance.
